how it was made: MSC Cepheid Variable, the SF/fantasy/horror committee at Texas A&M, periodically shows The Rocky Horror Picture Show along with a live cast. The previous top used for Columbia had finally self-destructed, so I made a new one.

I call it the Amazing Expand-o-Corset because it can be made to fit a range of sizes from skinny little girls like the one in the picture up to the big guys we use when we do a gender-bender cast. There is slight boning in the front to hold it up and give it a bit of shape, and the back of it laces to fit. I have also supplied a panel to fill in the back when larger people wear the corset.
