Gaming Schedule

To Attendees and GameMasters:

AggieCon offers LARPs, RPGs, tabletop gaming, and miniatures gaming, both open and scheduled, and tournaments. Not all games are tournaments or award prizes to winners, so please check the game summary to determine which games do so. Prizes are awarded at a small awards ceremony on Sunday if time permits. If you cannot attend, please let the staff or your GM know and your prize will be awarded at the end of the game.

I will try and have the schedule up soon as possible, I must go through dozens of GM requests to TRY and meet their requirements. So I will not have the schedule until the second week of March at the earliest. I will attempt to keep the list of available games up as soon as possible. None of the games have been rejected so far; we only have about half of the requested games (30) compared to last years 75 game masters that registered.

Please have patience; I will get the schedule (which is ALWAYS subject to change due to random events) as soon as possible.

Things to know:

  • The gaming schedule will not be available until mid-March
  • The list of games will hopefully be updated frequently
  • All scheduling is subject to change at last minute, please double-check gaming HQ for all changes
  • Attendees can only register to play games during the convention or with the GM, if permissible
  • I will attempt to make a room solely for Open Gaming, please seek Gaming HQ during the con for info
  • Gaming schedule will be available at Gaming HQ and not the Program book
  • If you would like to run a game, please see the information below.

To GameMasters

How to get your game into the Con

  • Register online
  • Run at least 8 Hours (two 4-hour slots, 8-hour tourney, etc.) to receive your Full Convention Pass
  • NPCs and Helpers will not receive their con pass and must pay their own way
  • Registration deadline is March 4, 2002 - anything afterwards will get the leftovers
  • I will attempt to meet all requests, all depending on AggieCon's resources
  • Once you finish registering the con pass will hopefully be ready for pick up at Gaming HQ during the Con

Rules and Problems to alleviate from previous years

  • Try to be on time, if you have any problems please tell the AC Gaming staff to inform the players of a delay, rescheduling, or cancellation.
  • Stick to the rooms scheduled to you. Please do not move to the next open room, it is most likely scheduled for another game. If a game is still running that should have finished up 10 minutes ago, please kindly ask them to finish up.

Please double check the info for any and all questions. Any suggestions, questions, or comments should be directed to Ernie "Ducky" Ramos, the Gaming Director for AggieCon 33.

If you just can't wait until March to game and you're in Bryan-College Station, contact the Texas A&M Gaming Club, a student-run organization dedicated to gaming. It puts on, among other things, ProtoCon. MSC Cepheid Variable is not involved as an organization with the Gaming Club or ProtoCon, but feel free to browse their website for more information.
