Hours:
The Kettle, synonymous with greatness, is open 24 hours. The restaurants tend to be a haven for late night studiers and and raucous loafers.

Directions:
Directions to #137, the one in Bryan (my personal favorite):
Go north on Texas Avenue. Coming from College Station, it will be to your left at the intersection of Oak and Texas Avenue. Takes less than five minutes to drive there.

Directions to #86, the one on University:
Across the street from campus, west of the University/Texas intersection. Near University Towers and the tattoo parlor. Walking: A bit of a walk but doable if you're so inclined. It's advisable to cross University at one of the lights, turn right, and walk up the north side of the street to where the restaurant is, shortly before the University/Texas intersection, rather than walking up the polo field and crossing at the Univ./Tex. light, where drivers aren't expecting pedestrians.

Directions to #138, the other one in College Station:
This Kettle is located near the intersection of Southwest Parkway and Texas. From campus, go south on Texas and it should be on the right side of the road. Takes less than five minutes to get there when driving.

Prices:
The average meal is around five dollars, and it's pretty good for the price.

Veggie-friendly?
No. Being that Kettle is a restaurant which serves country cooking, the kitchen serves up fried foods. However I know that they offer a vegetable plate (4-5 vegetables) for $3.99.

Notes
If you're looking for a restaurant that's similar to an IHOP but with prices similar to Waffle House, then the Kettle is a great place to eat.
