Notes
All right, so you don't really want to leave our glorious con even for the hour or two it takes to go somewhere and eat a meal. We understand, we truly do. This being a college campus, several alternatives besides having pizza delivered to your game, panel session, or dealer's table are available to you. Here are the two major locations you'll be most likely to use.

  1. The MSC:

Directions: You shouldn't need directions if you're already at the con, because you're here.

Rumours Deli: Southwest side (the corner nearest Kyle Field), first floor of the MSC building. Exit the building through the door between the Post Office and a gallery, then look to your left. Open daily 7 AM - 2 AM, serves sandwiches, chips, breakfast pastries, coffee, and the like.

Hullabaloo! Food Court: Basement of the MSC. Open daily 10 AM - 8 PM, serves burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. If I read the website aright, pizza is available until 10 PM.

MSC 12th Man International: Closed during most of the time AggieCon is running, but if you're peckish between 7 AM and 2:15 PM on Friday, you can stop by this cafeteria. Located on the first floor of the MSC.

  2. Sbisa Dining Hall:

Directions: Sbisa (say it "suh-bee-sa") Dining Hall is claimed to be the largest university dining facility in the world. It has just re-opened this semester after being shut down for a year for remodeling. Info on this page taken from the Campus Food Services website, which may not be up to date. Sbisa is bordered by Houston, Ross, Hogg, and Asbury Streets just South of the north campus post office. Reach it from the MSC by walking north along Houston Street, past the YMCA building and Beutel Health Center, and crossing over a small plaza with an empty fountain ("Fish Pond"). Sbisa will be in front of you. You may need to be affiliated with the campus to eat in the dining hall itself (I'm not sure), but there are a couple of points of note:

Bernie's Cafe Expresso: Specializing in pizza and pepperoni rolls, Bernie's is open weekdays 7 AM - 12 midnight, and weekends 5 PM - 12 midnight, and is located on the First Floor, West Side of the building.

Fast food: If it's Thursday or Friday between 8 AM and 8 PM and you're jonesing for fast food that isn't campus fare, Chick-fil-A, Alonti Deli, Whataburger, Se' Wrappe, and Colombo franchises are available in the Basement of the Sbisa Dining Hall, West side. After 8 PM and on the weekends, you'll have to seek your fix elsewhere.
