Cuffs

The cuffs were made with the same fabric that the skirt and vest were made of, lined with fusible interfacing to provide stiffening. I used Velcro to fasten them around the wrists, sewing the Velcro bits onto the inside piece of fabric before sewing that to the outside fabric, leaving a small hole in the seam, and turning the whole shebang right-side-out and ironing it flat. I then sewed thin white bias tape to the long edge of the cuff and two buttons to each cuff.
